Busy Town

The ‘Busy Town Box’ is inspired by Atwells Avenue and the many Italian businesses that are located on this street. Students also referenced the style of Richard Scarry’s children books and drew many anthropomorphic creatures on the street-squirrels buying snacks, goats selling fish, and beavers driving tractors. The box also includes the Atwells pinecone, which is an arched pinecone statue at the beginning of Atwells avenue.
