Watch sculptor Steven Siegel's vision start to take shape.
We’ve been making preparations for sculptor Steven Siegel’s new installation in Providence for more than a year. We’ve collected hundreds of single-use plastic containers. We’ve partnered with Wexford Science & Technology to give the sculpture a home for the next three years. And finally, on September 23 all our planning and prepping became tangible as Siegel arrived in Providence and began work. Take a look below at how this monumental work started to take shape over the first few days of the installation. Be sure to come see the finished product at 225 Dyer Street when he’s all done and join us for Siegel’s artist talk at Venture Cafe on October 3.
